Tropical Soda

The other day I was looking for a Coke in the grocery store and could only find the little Pepsi refridgerator kiosk. Normally, I would say “screw it” and not get a soda at all, but today I looked into the fridge and spied an unusually packaged Pepsi. It was a summer flavor–Tropical fruits Pepsi. Not sure exactly which tropical fruits they thought they were invoking because no where on the package was there a list, but I bought one anyway. I mean how could I NOT? Full disclosure, I really liked Lime flavored coke and am sad that they seem to have done away with it. Well, the soda was interesting in a good way. Again, not sure which tropical fruits exactly they thought they were squeezing into the pepsi but it did taste tropical. Kind of like drinking a starburst. Or, also a little reminiscent of a Cactus Cooler only not orange. And yes, somehow, the color affects the taste.
